When laying UHMWPE pipes, it can be used overhead or buried in the ground. In order to ensure the service life and installation effect of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene wear-resistant pipes used in underground backfilling, the pipeline installers should pay attention to the following when buried and backfilled ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipes:

(1) UHMWPE pipes should be backfilled in time after laying. When backfilling, the pipe connection parts should be reserved. The connection parts should be backfilled after the UHMWPE pipe is qualified in the hydraulic test. The polyethylene piping system is reinforced.

(2) When backfilling the UHMWPE pipe, first fill the bottom of the UHMWPE pipe, then backfill both sides of the UHMWPE pipe at the same time, and then backfill to the top 0.5m of the UHMWPE pipe. Place. When there is stagnant water in the ditch, it must be completely drained before backfilling.

(3) The backfill soil on both sides of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipe and within 0.5 meters above the top of the pipe shall not contain debris, bricks, garbage, etc., and shall not be backfilled with frozen soil. A small amount of rocks and frozen soil with a diameter of not more than 0.1 meters are allowed in the backfill at a distance of more than 0.5 meters from the top of the pipe, and the quantity shall not exceed 15% of the total volume of the fill.

(4) The backfill should be compacted in layers, and 

the thickness of each layer should be 0.2~0.3 meters. The backfill on both sides of the ultra-high molecular polyethylene pipe and within 0.5 meters from the top of the pipe must be compacted manually; when the backfill exceeds 0.5 meters from the top of the pipe At the time, small machinery can be used for compaction, and the thickness of each layer of loose soil should be 0.25 to 0.4 meters.
